The visual identity for Estonian Academy of Arts graduation show TASE is constantly changing and every year developed by students of graphic design. There were no specific demands for the outcome and the result is a reflection of the process. Our starting point was to analyze the current situation of the event – what it is and how to express it?
Every year new works are exhibited in a new environment. Therefore central to the graphic identity is the temporary and adaptable nature of the exhibition. I developed graphic elements to play around with from the font Pareto, which is also the typeface used in the exhibition materials. The elements illustrate the movement and adaptability. The identity is about development and flexibility.
